Philip Kingsley Pure Silver Shampoo and Conditioner

I got highlights in my hair recently. Since I have dark, previously colored hair, I have a high risk of my highlights turning brassy. You know… that orange tint that comes out after you bleach your hair. With every wash, color fades, increasing the chance that those brassy tones will come out. My hair dresser recommended that I use a violet tinted shampoo and conditioner that will deposit color and tone my hair with every wash, preventing brassiness altogether. Genius right? I’ve been using one from Sally Beauty called Shimmer Lights, but it has been leaving my hair pretty dry and tangled after washing. It has been difficult to brush my hair, probably causing breakage.

The conditioner has a stronger scent. It really moisturized well and got rid of any tangles caused by the shampooing. Once I rinsed and let my hair air dry, I could feel the difference in the softness of my hair. It feels clarified and replenished.
