Shew Review: LUSH Vitamin C Toner Tabs

My second LUSH review is for their Vitamin C Toner Tabs.

“We invented this packaging and preservative-free toner tab to delight dry and more sophisticated (aka mature) skin with sandalwood and rose essential oils. Drop this tab into hot water and let the nutrients rise with the steam and soak in.”

The tab fizzled immediately and I leaned over the bowl to soak up the steam, kinda like this…

Pros: The steam on your face is very soothing. It opens up your pores and prepares your skin for your moisturizer or for a mask. My skin felt soft, refreshed and moisturized.
Cons: The tabs are designed for one time usage. I wish you could save the water and reheat it to use again, or maybe save the leftover water and use it as a liquid toner. Hmm maybe you can?

Vitamin C Toner Tabs retail for $1.50 each

i used to have one of those conAIR face steamers. i loved that thing. but now I just go to yoga and sweat my face off for an hour and a half.

do they still have face steamer machines?

I’ve seen those steamers before, not sure if they still make them.
This particular product is more about absorbing the vitamin c and nutrients with the steam. Oh and I forgot to mention it but I was rather stuffy that morning and it cleared my sinuses when nothing else does!
I just heated water on the stovetop, poured it in a bowl and dropped in the tablet. No machine needed :)

I liked having the machine. consistent steam for as long as u set it for. although one would consider such a contraption a luxury during these times!

thx sum….i’ma buffalo xchange some shit then make it happen . lol.

How much are the machines?? That sounds tempting depending on the price. Then I could save my leftover Vitamin C water in the fridge and re-steam it in the steamer? Wow I’m really trying to push this $1.50 toner tab as much as I can huh?! LOL
