My sixth and seventh LUSH reviews are on the Fair Trade Foot Lotion and Handy Gurugu Hand Cream.
I’m grouping them together because they are pretty much in the same category and they also happened to be my least favorite products in the kit and I don’t have much to say about them.
Hey, they can’t all be winners…

“At the end of a long day, dip your fingers (or toes) into this creamy pink mixture and let the spearmint and peppermint cool your tootsies while arnica soothes and almond oil and fair trade cocoa butter soften and moisturize. Not only will your feet thank you, but so will those around you when your feet feel soft and smell divine.”
Pros: Smells and feels invigorating. Feels light and almost like a gel, not greasy at all.
Cons: Not moisturizing enough for me, especially in the winter. For me to spend 20 bones on a foot lotion it needs to work wonders.
Fair Trade Foot Lotion retails for $19.50 for a 7.9oz. tub.

“Handy Gurugu is a rich cream that sinks in quickly and really goes to work on dry, sore hands. We mix in a multitude of butters including fresh Shea butter, purchased fairly from women who whip it up by hand in a village in Ghana”
Pros: It moisturizes and is a good quick fix. It’s kinda herbal scented, if that’s your thing.
Cons: A tad greasy, but doesn’t really have long lasting effects. I don’t care for the smell much either.
Handy Gurugu Hand Cream retails for $16.45 for a 3.5oz. tub.

I dunno… it honestly doesn’t look like either of them would work. I’d rather stick to my Jergens; it’s a lot cheaper :]
20 bux is a lil too much to spend on foot lotion…
Agreed. IF it was some kind of miracle cream I’d get it. But unfortunately it wasn’t that for me. I like Cetaphil cream or vaseline overnight for my feet.
To be fair LUSH does have other hand creams and foot creams. Those may be better
I use the hand cream lotion on my elbows, knees, and heels. I likey
The foot lotion is really cooling. I likey as well
Of course I wouldn’t have even tried it if it didn’t come in my kit. Would I buy it? No, a little expensive. I’ll let the boyfriend buy it instead. KIDDING!!
Hahaha… Ignore my first sentence. I totally was confused with the cuticle butter!! Which is what I use on the drier parts of my skin!!
Ooooh girl the Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter! That’s my NEXT review. You alllready know
I’m really glad that I read this review! I was thinking about trying these, but I agree, for 20 bucks I expect something pretty darn good.
