Shew Review: LUSH Each Peach

My ninth LUSH review is on the Each Peach Massage Bar.

“Massages are enjoyable for numerous reasons; they help us relax, they soothe sore muscles, and sometimes (like when you use an Each Peach) they moisturize your skin and uplift your spirits. Because this bar is packed with cocoa, shea, avocado and mango butters, it’s a fantastic moisturizer. Plus, we add sweet orange oil, lime and grapefruit oils to refresh and wake you up. Perfect for a fruity, uplifting massage.”

Pros: I gave my husband a massage with this bar. It melts into a buttery cream on contact with skin. I rubbed it on his back a bit to melt off some cream and then just massaged the cream into his back. He said it was very relaxing and the cream was very moisturizing. No greasy feeling, cream absorbed well after a nice long massage. Smells like Lemon PEZ!!
Cons: I had him use it on me the next night. Unfortunately my sensitive skin is allergic to something in it. I got itchy with red splotches. Had to jump in the shower and wash it off. This happened to me with a massage oil from Fascinations once.  This shouldn’t turn you off from trying it unless you have super sensitive skin like mine.

Each Peach (And Two’s a Pair) Massage Bar retails for $8.75 for a 2.2oz. bar.

That’s too bad you had an allergic reaction to the bar, it definitely sounds good, I think I’ll give it a try on my next visit to Lush :-)

Oh no! Sucks to hear about the reaction :( Than you so much for this info, I have super sensitive skin and a lot of products react badly on me. While I like the idea of this massage bar, I think it would definitely be best for those without sensitive skin. It is cute though!!

This sounds awesome! Except for your allergic reaction :(

How many massages do you think one bar would last for?? I can’t imagine needing too much of the bar or else it would just get slimey..?

You only need to rub it for a few seconds and it melts off enough cream for the whole back. You can rub it on your legs as a moisturizer too. I imagine the bar would last a LONG time depending on how often you use it :)

I have the Heavenilli Massage Bar, which I got from a gift box. I tried it once or twice after a shower, and I didn’t particularly like it, because it seemed to just slide over my skin, leaving greasiness on the surface, rather than really moisturizing deeply.

Sounds like I should try it with my boyfriend for a massage sometime, though. Seems like it would be a nice experience and maybe it would melt more and be more moisturizing, since more time is spent massaging it into the skin. =)
