A couple of weeks ago I had the privilege of attending Karlie Hustle’s very first Semi-Pro Seminar. Why? Mostly in support of my friend, but also because the music industry has been a big part of my life. My husband has been in Phoenix Radio for over 10 years, Los Angeles before that, and it was good to understand and take in everything about the music industry (ups and downs) from someone else’s point of view.
The seminar was extremely informative and resourceful, and I imagine that they will only get better as she continues. I encourage anyone who is interested in getting into the music business, especially aspiring artists and artist managers, to attend this seminar.

Camille you will enjoy it. I thought for sure I knew it all but you can always learn something from someone else. Karlie is very open to questions so I’m sure each one ends up being very personal and tailored to the attendees.
While on this subject, another thing we discussed a bit was the radio performance tax being pushed. The public should know more about it because it could severely affect radio as you know it.
