Pet Me.

(i had two pot belly pigs RIP Webster and Spamela)

Having pets as a kid is pretty typical. But i never had a “typical” pet, and well, i never turned out to be a “typical” kid. What kinda pet did you have as a kid? Here’s a few of mines!

Baby Turtles

(not all were named, Whodini was my fave…he survived a week behind the couch after mysteriously escaping his fool proof tank)

This mouse.

(no name, found a week later behind the VCR, yikes :/)

Bald Python

(had it for years, moms got tired of feeding it live mice…and it would always escape and be found in the bed covers)

Great Dane

(all black with a smidge of white on his chest. The greatest dog that ever lived, Tasho Dane. We also had one named THOR. RIP…they were incredible)

*we had other family pets that included guinea pigs, bunnies, and more dogs…including pugs…but they weren’t ACTUALLY mines)

My house was pet central growing up – at one point we had 10 animals, LOL!

Lets see…a rottweiler/german shepherd mix, 2 guinea pigs, a mutant goldfish, 4 cats (one of whom was mentally unstable and cross-eyed), my iguana, Turok, a garter snake (that later escaped to parts unknown) a mouse with 3 legs named Jumpy (we woke up one day and homeboy was missing a leg)and several jars of tadpoles…

    I always wanted a great dane though….

we had chickens, baby turtles, a guinea pig, couple rabbits, fish (one who jumped out of the tank and died). We had our family dog, Scruffy but we didn’t spend alot of time with him :( I consider King to be my FIRST REAL pet.

I had 2 chinchillas, they are my fave, so soft. They do bathe in volcanic ash. It’s called a dust bath. I had to give them away when I got my dog Maddness.

PS, they squeak at night :/

As a kid I had a gecko, hermit crab, mouse, and guinea pig :)

Yes, one time at a pet store I saw a chinchilla trying to get out of an associates hands. It jumped and the man tried to grab the tail, it popped off. So weird

Never happened to either of mine.
Btw Chinchilla #1 was “Chonch” and Chinchilla #2 was “Bella” :)

Chinchillas look like they’d be so much fun to cuddle…like bunnies with less biting.

Maybe you can start a new trend, La. Instead of teacup chihuahuas everyone’ll start carrying Chinchillas – lol
