Penny Pinchers Vs. Starbucks
I know how tempting Starbucks can be with their festive holiday drinks, especially when it starts to get cold. We all want to save money around the holidays and if you do the math, cutting out a $5 latte every day now until the New Year would save you almost $200! Get your fix without breaking the bank:
- Pour a packet of cocoa into your mug, Candy Cane cocoa for a peppermint mocha
- Fill it up with plain ol’ brewed coffee
- Stir well and enjoy (add whip if you’re a fancy pants)
Trust me it does the trick, plus think about that extra $$ you have for Christmas shopping now!

if you’re a diva, go to Starbucks and grab a handful of their green straws to sip with. It makes all the difference
Oooh Shew! You’re a genious! Cuz I’m slowly becoming a starbucks addict and it adds up, so I’m def trying this!
My fave is when you can find the good cocoa flavors. During the holidays you can find Gingerbread cocoa and Dark Chocolate Raspberry cocoa. Mmmmm
Don’t forget about all the creamers that are available as well, the newest one is Caramel Macchiato. They also have Chocolate Raspberry and Dulce De Leche. All in your nearest grocery!!

I feel you on it adding up… my kids love getting reg. hot choc frm Starbucks but lately I’ve been making it for them at home.. instead of w/ water I use milk and marshmellows. They love it all the same.
Summer, I love their green straws too!! LOL. Sometimes I will wash & re-use my plastic cup throughout the whole day just cuz I love it so much lol.. I’m a weirdo. And I always jack me some extra straws.

Im def a Starbucks fiend for sure…. Double Blended Iced Caramel Malchiado wit the Breve Milk LOL but to save me $5.17 a day it’s worth a try!!!
