For this project, Starlight has partnered with five specific hospitals, whose treatment rooms are in dire need of a transformation: Maricopa Medical Center in Arizona, Rainbow & Babies Children’s Hospital in Ohio, Los Angeles County USC Medical Center in California, Joe DiMaggio’s Children’s Hospital in Florida, and UMass Memorial Children’s Center in Massachusetts.

It goes without saying that a hospital treatment room can be a very scary place for children. With this in mind, Starlight created its Starlight Site care room program. One by one, Starlight is beautifully redesigning dreary and intimidating treatment rooms in hospitals across the country into warmer, kid-friendly environments that pediatric patients can relax and feel comfortable in during their hospital visits.
