Archie Comics announced the introduction of their first openly-gay character, Kevin Keller. Kevin will make his entrance in the September issue #202 where Veronica will set her sights on the “hot new guy”. Kevin will apparently try to let her down easily and is quoted as saying, “It’s nothing against her. I’m gay.” Whatever it takes to stay relevant right? 
I used to read Archie comics as a kid and while I think it’s great, I’m not sure how the majority of parents will feel about this. What do YOU think about the new addition to Riverdale High?

I loved Archie comics as a kid too and I love my rainbow friends but it’s getting harder and harder everyday for me to “filter” what my 8 year old daughter comes across….now comics too I guess.

I’ve always loved Archie and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this. I think it’s important that kids learn about different lifestyles early on. Team Veronica FOREVER by the way
