First of all let me say, this performance was the highlight of the 2008 VMA’s for me. Did Rihanna look hot or what?!

Her leather jacket is BOMB and she looks fantastic. Of course you would probably want to wear a shirt underneath and find something less embellished for a more wearable look. I usually try to find the most affordable options but when it comes to authentic leather, it’s not cheap, and faux leather tends to look and feel like plastic.

The celeb-favorite Mike & Chris leather jackets (below) go for around $900… ouch

Which is why I’m glad I found this knock-off last year at Old Navy. (hope they bring it back this year)
