Excuse me while I have a moment.

Don’t know what it is, and its strangely out of character…but honestly, happy couples make me want to violently regurgitate. Not sure what I can attribute my recent emo phase to, but I’m in a funk. and it’s not that I don’t like happy people, or happy people together. It’s just that I’m usually a proud solo rider and recently I’ve been in a serious slump. Being the happy sideline cheerleader for everyone else and their relationships is growing old. I literally want to slap people who are hand in hand and tap dance on their happy bubble. Someone save me before I crash a wedding. sincerely, Single Sally.

Just being honest. Please don’t take it personal, that’s why i’ve been keep my crazy self outta sight.

I dont know how much it means, because I know when you’re in that kind of funk you know what you know and no one can tell you otherwise… But I thought for the longest that I was SO independent and that I was gunna be single and get my shit done, go to art school and travel alone. Basically not need anyone because I was NOT in need of a relationship. Couples made me sick, and I tried to preach the “you dont need a man” speech to every girl I came across. But I learned that you cannot plan shit, it just happens sometimes if you just open up and let your gaurd down. True, Im not exactly miss succesful, but Im making my way with someone who understands where Im coming from.

Oh and btw, that happy tap dancing on a bubble stuff is only a front, you can be happy to miss out on silly arguments, games and drama…lol. Its not all happy bubbles all the time.

La – maybe you just need more fun girl times…I’ve been single for about 6 months now and whenever I feel lonely I just try to hang out with the other single girl friends and it def makes me feel better, especially when we go scam on dudes together!

don’t be embarrassed la. if so many of us can relate it is only because you are not in the minority! good relationships are hard to come by. you are a great person and good things are sure to come.

as woman, we have to try to stay positive when shit gets us down. easier said than done, but i just try to be thankful for what i DO have. gratitude has gotten me this far, and i believe i will have my partner someday. i have no doubt you will too. mushy, i know. :|
