I wasn’t too excited about the Essie Art of Spring Collection from promo photos but this collection impressed me in person. It’s full of colors perfect for Valentine’s Day and Spring. Did Essie improve their formula? Because I always remember their lighter colors being super sheer and barely there. These applied nicely and the color showed evenly in only 2 coats, with the exception of Pop Art Pink.

Too cool for my skintone, but I see this being very popular.

Neo Whimsical

I really liked this one and didn’t expect to. It’s a beautiful pink-lavender.

Reminds me of MAC lavender whip lipstick.

Pop Art Pink

This was the most sheer of the bunch, needed 3 coats to be opaque and even.

A high-shine, elegant pale pink.

Van D’Go

This was super pigmented and creamy. Made me look tan. Very similar to the limited-edition

MAC Seasonal Peach!

Tart Deco

This one was also very pigmented and creamy. Would look amazing on tan skin!

Red Nouveau

Hello Gorgeous! This is a very pigmented red jelly. Could’ve gotten away with one coat in a pinch, but did 2 for the swatches. A high-shine warm red. LOVE.

My faves of the bunch are Neo Whimsical, Van D’Go, and Red Nouveau.
