drink up

Currently obsessing over Nestle Abuelita drinking chocolate. Rich chocolate tablets (infused with cinnamon) that you melt in hot milk. My dad recently gave me a box and thanks to him, I’m addicted! I’m not a hundred percent sure where you can get it here in Phoenix, so if you’re new to this product like I was, check out Abuelita’s website. For a homemade version of Mexican hot chocolate, visit Recipezaar.com MMM :)

I loove chocolate abuelita it brings back so many memories of my great grandmother. Summer you can get this at atny Food City, Fry’s in the “Hispanic Foods” isle as it is now called. It is so yummy and frothy w/ warm milk wisked in a pot until it melts. Yum :)

OMG Summer!!! Chocolate Abuelita is like chocolate-crack-in-a-mug lol! I LOVE it! Spike it with a little Kahlua and the drunk in me is in chocolate-alcohol heaven! And like Aggie said, any Food City, Ranch Market, Fry’s Mercado, Frys, and Wal-Mart has it in their “hispanic foods” section…

I’ve been telling my east coast friends about it lately! Best hot cocoa around!

High five for the post :)

Hey La perra you hook it up right girl, thats how we do it the toasted bolillo w/ butter on the “comal” mexican griddle and dipped in the chocolate is heaven especially w/ this weather.

Oh this is the best hot chocolate ever. My mom would make it for me and we’d eat pan in the winter time. Especially when putting up the Christmas tree. It’s always in the cabinet

Man, I haven’t made this in a couple of years! After I read this post I wanted some. So, while I was @ Fry’s Mercado yesterday I picked some up, it’s funny bc my kids got all happy too. My daughter Hailee pointed out to me that they now sell it in liquid form, you know how you add choc. syrup to your milk- like that. I was like danggg lol.

I want to try all forms of it, I think the syrup would be amazing on top of ice cream :)
