Don’t Be That

That’s me last summer, “poolside” which to me was sitting in the shade with spf 50 on… deep in thought… ON MY PHONE. Not a big deal, right? Everybody does it… right?

Unfortunately, this is how I showed up in my daughter’s journal.

There she is with brother, Dad, and Nana tossing the football around in the pool. Look how happy they are. Look how much fun they are having. Guess which one I am? The one in the shade with spf 50 on… deep in thought… ON MY PHONE. smh

This summer, I’ll be IN THE POOL tossing around the ball. I’ll be IN THE SUN, even if it means getting some sun damage. They’re worth it. Here’s to ENJOYING summer

That is too funny!! I feel her tho, cell phones are like my biggest pet peeve. I’m one of those people that can’t stand it when were in mid convo and u pull out ur phone or at dinner or any other time theres a social stuation really lol I just think it’s unbelievably rude.
