I LOVE Urban Decay’s 24/7 Shadow Pencils. Rehab is a favorite of mine, and I have a feeling Juju will be a new fave. Delinquent looks amazing as a liner on green-eyed beauties. These so-called “minis” are not that much smaller than the full-size 24/7 shadow pencils! So all five for $34 is a steal! (Full size 24/7 shadow pencils will run you $20 each) The shadow pencils are creamy, smooth and blend well. I like using the 24/7 shadow pencil blending brush to smudge at the lashline. They last all night over my Urban Decay primer potion. This is a super sweet holiday set.

LUSH Dirty Toothy Tabs

NEW from the LUSH “Dirty” grooming line, Toothy Tabs are solid tabs of toothpaste that are perfect for travel . They are sold in a recycled paper box, and can be recycled once empty. My box will probably never be empty, and I’ll try to explain why…

First, let me say that I love LUSH and the majority of their products. I think that Toothy Tabs are a great idea and are obviously very “green” and travel friendly. You take a tab in your mouth, break it up with your teeth, and begin to brush with a wet toothbrush. It is then supposed to foam up like “regular” toothpaste and leave you with minty-fresh breath. My toothy tab did not foam up like regular toothpaste, and it did not taste minty-fresh or like any toothpaste I’ve ever used. As it dissolved, it just sort-of lingered around and had a slightly bitter taste. Without getting too “Dirty” I’m just going to hint and say it tasted like… well… DNA. CSI Miami… Law & Order SVU…

Camp Spin-Off brings together 50 boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 17 with the common passion and desire to learn the art of being a DJ. The program is designed to bring all the elements of the DJ culture together in an outdoor environment. Campers are not only immersed in the culture but also experience an action packed week of traditional camp activities with their favorite DJ role models. The DJ community is unique in that, the “pioneers” of the art form are still alive.  Some of these very pioneers are scheduled to make appearances during the duration of camp. Confirmed heavy hitter DJ involvement includes but is not limited to, DJ Samantha Ronson, DJ Reflex, and DJ Spider. Camp Spin Off aims to give access to not only these pioneers, but also the proper DJ instruction and equipment, paired with a team-building environment in the great outdoors! Campers have daily schedules filled with instructional classes, electives, outdoor activities, practice time and evening events. Activities include DJ Instructional Class with The Scratch DJ Academy, Zip Lines, Climbing Wall, Skate Park, Swimming, Pool Parties, Dinner & A DJ, DJ showcases, movies under the stars, Skits, campfires, smores, and more…

The Camp Spin Off Scholarship Contest (the “Contest”) begins at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time on May 1st, 2011 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on May 30th, 2011 (“Contest Period”).

ELIGIBILITY.

Contest is offered only in the United States to legal residents of the 50 United States (including the District of Columbia), who are at least 13 years old up to 17 years old at the time of entry.

GRAND PRIZE WINNER: One (1) winner will be selected to receive a scholarship to attend one week at Camp Spin Off. Approximate total retail value: $800.
Winners are responsible for their own travel to and from camp located in Ojai, California. Winners who are not able to provide their own travel to and from the camp will be disqualified and an alternative winner will be chosen in his/her place.
The final winner will be notified by the contact information provided at the time of the Contest entry. The winner will have seventy-two (72) hours from the moment such notification is issued to respond to such notification by following the instructions provided therein.
Winner and his/her guardian or parent will release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliated and subsidiary companies from liability for personal injuries, loss or damage, including death and property damage resulting from acceptance, possession, use of prize, or occurring while traveling to or from, or participating in any related activity at the camp.
