If It’s Good Enough For Trump

Freeze It Mega Hold Hairspray

My new absolute FAVORITE hairspray. If anyone knows where this is sold please tell me in the comments. It smells AMAZING! Best smelling hairspray I have used to date, and I’ve used many. The hold is fantastic, while keeping my hair shiny and soft. Pretty much all you can ask for in a hairspray.

I picked it up at the TRUMP Store inside the TRUMP Hotel in Las Vegas when I realized I had forgotten to pack my hairspray. (You always forget SOMETHING right?) It was the last can and lucky for me I swooped it up and ended up winning big in the beauty department.

Speaking of the TRUMP Hotel, next time you take a girls trip to Vegas you NEED to book your room here. It’s so beautiful and the customer service is unreal. Take a look at the rooms…

Que Cute!

saw a girl selling these in front of Brooklyn’s well known Habana Outpost and snagged a card. Found em online, a different spin on the classic hoop, light weight, vibrant and affordable. COP HERE.

Fort Greene Festival x Common

Fort Greene x Common from Lady La on Vimeo.

The show was an all day FREE event filled with several live performances, retail and food vendors. The day ended with this Common performance and a packed Fort Greene park. I <3 this place!

Foodie FIEND: Streets of NYC

Sky Harbor Aiport:

I tried to find something ‘healthy’ to eat at the airport and found a stand with these treats. Overall, they were stale…probably because people don’t usually try to eat ‘healthy’ at the airport…and the stand was hardly visited and well stocked. The only thing in this group I’d eat again is the Banana Walnut Bar.

My favorite pizza so far. Not Ray’s Pizza in Forte Green.

fresh sliced mango con chile y sal in Soho.

Mamoun’s falafel near Washington Square Park.

Nuts 4 Nuts on Canal st.

Mister Softee–all over NY

Pequena for brunch.

Baked by Melissa. We had pb&j , cinnamon, peanut butter cup, and tie-dye.

found the BIG GAY ICE CREAM TRUCK in Chelsea. totally regret not getting ice cream here.

Red Velvet Slice from Cake Man Raven

helado cups on the street for 1.00

Among this year’s “stylists” were: Plasticgod, Gary Baseman, Shag, Marc Ecko, and a slew of amazing others. Shew Review: Ecotools 6-Piece Eye Brush Set

Ecotools 6-Piece Eye Brush Set – $7.99

  • Highly sustainable bamboo handles
  • 100% cruelty-free, soft taklon bristles
  • Recycled aluminum ferrules
  • Natural cotton and hemp cosmetic bag
  • Reusable storage pouch

This review is on the Ecotools 6-piece eye brush set. I actually found the quality of these brushes was exceptionally good for their price. The bristles were soft and they picked up eyeshadow well. They blended very well too. I know a lot of you have had good experiences with Ecotools, and I was honestly really surprised at how well these worked so thank you all for sharing your thoughts with me in my previous post. I heart falafel.

*this pic is not from Mamoun’s

I make it a point, on EVERY trip to NY to find something new to heart. And the last trip I made, it turned out that I heart falafel. I was treated to Mamoun’s in East Village and am counting down the minutes I go back! This was my FIRST experience with falafel (fried mashed chick peas and herbs) + lettuce + tomatoes + pita + tahini sauce. Mamoun’s is widely known as one of THE best if not THE best for falafel so I decided to share….It’s obviously not the ONLY place for you to snag some falafel in NYC but I always take advice from locals! Does anyone know of a dope spot in AZ?
