Without saying too much, cuz I know you just really wanna see the pics…let me just start of by saying I’m REALLY proud to be part filipino. So proud, that I decided I needed to take a trip back, make my grandma proud, meet my family for the first time, keep it really REAL in the jungles of my roots. literally. Unfortunately, this time around wasn’t all about fashion, or the grand city of Manila, or fly rides or fitted people. I didn’t have my blackberry, twitter, facebook, myspace, or even a watch. Fortunately it was about REAL people, MY people, and struggle, and life, and death, disease, and beaches, and food, the power of an american dollar. This isn’t a soapbox for me to stand on, please don’t get it twisted. This is just me, opening up, about MY eyes opening up about where I’m from. WHO I’m from, and what it means to be filipino, to ME. I’ll continue to share fotos, stories, laughs, food, and family through out the week! please enjoy, IT’s coming from the sweetest place on earth!

I tested this out for about a week. I like that it’s all natural, non-irritating, allergy-tested, and it does not contain aluminum or mineral oils. The only thing I didn’t like was the scent. Sephora stores currently only carry the vanilla lavender scent. Sephora online carries vanilla lavender, vanilla grapefruit, pure vanilla, and vanilla coconut. When I can get my hands on the vanilla coconut one, I’m pretty sure I will be in love.
