*for this shoot, we wanted a SUPER natural vibe, with minimal makeup, lush greenery, and lots of sunshine. Photographed at Al Beadle’s iconic Boardwalk property, Marissa Hassard was able to capture exactly what we wanted in just a few snaps.

China Glaze Fight Like a Woman Collection for Breast Cancer Awareness
Join China Glaze Nail Lacquer this October in the battle against breast cancer, one nail at a time! The professional line of nail lacquers brings on the fight with three powerful pinks. Inspired by the women who fight everyday and those that support them in their battle, these fabulous shades are sure to help you defeat the toughest opponents with style and class. China Glaze representative Rachel Schafer voiced that “in an industry dominated by women, for women, it is important that we strive to work together towards finding a cure.”
I love that these colors are not the typical medium pink creme or shimmer that you normally see for BCA. These are pretty and unique colors that women will actually want to wear!
Look for them in September at your local beauty supply…

Encouragement: A baby pink shimmer that brings on the cheer

Endurance: Power through the punches with this raspberry shimmer

Empowerment: Stand up tall with this cotton-candy crème on your nails

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), an agency of the World Health Organization dedicated to the science of cancer and promoting international collaboration in cancer research.

These are so unique and amazing. They are getting me super excited for Halloween.
I’ll just let the photos speak for themselves…

Mummy May I: Vampy, wine colored purple with flecks of hot pink glitter

Zombie Zest: A mossy green shade with gold flecks of micro glitter

ICK-A-BOD-Y: A dark green base chock full of orange glitter

The London IT GIRL, dj, and daughter of Gavin Rossdale (or Mr. Stefani, I should say), will launch a collection with French fashion chain, Morgan. No word on whether or not the line will ever be available in the US, but I just think the campaign is stunning.

American royalty in all her pretty (yet pulled) glory. Inspired by Pier Paolo Pasolini’s film, “Mamma Roma“, the campaign (shot by Steven Klein) features the icon grocery shopping, having a dinner party, and hanging with her make believe granny, boy toy, and kid. According to WWD, “Most often swathed in black lace, Madonna dips into an imaginary film where she interprets a woman who is at once mother, daughter, cousin, and sister in the simplicity and beauty of everyday family life, Italian-style.” Read the rest of this entry »

Sky Harbor Aiport:
I tried to find something ‘healthy’ to eat at the airport and found a stand with these treats. Overall, they were stale…probably because people don’t usually try to eat ‘healthy’ at the airport…and the stand was hardly visited and well stocked. The only thing in this group I’d eat again is the Banana Walnut Bar.
My favorite pizza so far. Not Ray’s Pizza in Forte Green.
