iPhone users can virtually try on OPI polish to see how the color may look on their skintone. OPI also offers this on their site but it’s pretty cool to be able to do on the go if you are in-store considering a purchase or waiting in the salon for your mani/pedi. Just select a hand in your skintone and start trying on the over 200 color choices.

I think Poolside was the perfect name for this collection because I can so picture myself wearing these by the poolside. I love a bright mani and pedicure in the Summer. Towel Boy Toy looks like pool water on my fingertips! Flip Flop Fantasy is another favorite of mine because I love the coral color. All of these will look amazing on tan skin, not that I condone “sun worshiping”.

As far as application goes with these, all neons take patience. Yellow Polka Dot Bikini gave me the most trouble. The best way to get even coverage with these is to do a few thin coats. Luckily neons dry pretty quickly so doing 3-4 thin coats isn’t so bad. Second, neons dry sort of matte, so I added a top coat of Seche Vite on top. This also helps make the color more even and gets rid of streaks, which are common in neons.

Hope you guys like these! I don’t have an exact release date for these yet but I would expect them to start hitting stores in April.

Played around with some new Konad plates that I got recently.

Above is a fishnet pattern in black…

I added a flower pattern on top of the fishnets to give more of a lace appearance… Pure SEX!
