old habits never die

Ray-Ban Aviator Road Spirit- available in blue, red, yellow, and fuchsia

Ray-Ban Aviators designed by Donald Cummings of The Virgins (not available for sale)

I LOVE classic, statement sunglasses; It’s an addiction I could never shake. Forget the bags and shoes, I NEED shades. No clue why, but I’ve always liked the idea of throwing on a $500 pair of sunglasses with a ten dollar outfit. Pretentious hipster irony maybe, but who cares, I’m allowed ONE fault, right? In an effort to revamp the brand, Ray-Ban is creating six new looks for its Aviator series. According to WWD: The collections will retail from $139 for the classic Aviator to $495 for the Ultra Gold collection, and will be available in the U.S. in June. Would LOVE to see the Ultra Gold collection, I can only imagine :)

FOODIE Fiend: Fattoush

So on my last post Miss Summer referred Fattoush to me to try some falafel and mediterranean cuisine rite here in phoenix…and I’ve gone twice since that day. First off, its in a mini strip mall called Aziz and is on the the southwest side of Campbell and 19th ave. It’s family owned and operated and kind of a hole in the wall, if spots as “authentic” as these make you weary it’s probably not your first choice. The service is good, every order comes with a compimentary lentil soup or salad. So far I’ve had chicken shawirma and the falafel plate. The food is good, the price is right and as far as I’m concerned Fattoush is a solid spot for some different eats! FULL MENU HERE

Wake UP call.

There’s very little that I feel surprises me anymore. Until I saw this show. I too, never really paid any attention to the PEOPLE behind the food we eat. I give all the props in the world to these kids who are not only exposing so much of the unknown but taking the time to LIVE the things we didn’t even know were happening. Watch these 6 students live in third world countries at every step of the food process and engage with the poorly paid workers who are responsibly for preparing our fast food or “takeaway” meals.

best of luck

to whoever gets their hands on this. I still like Supreme, sorry. I think it’s their snob appeal that I’m strangely (and SADLY) attracted to. I’m continuously searching for the incense holder they came out with so we’ll see if this comes around.

Obsessed.

Totally in love with these little Debbie cars…even though I’m a cake roll fan, not the cup cake fan. and with so much hype, obsessed with the black taco also.

i’m going to try one this weekend. and I will also bring one to Karlie Hustle. It will be epic.
