r.i.p. YSL

Fashion legend Yves Saint Laurent died today at the age of 71. Considered one of the most influencial designers of the 20th century, Saint Laurent DEFINED the modern woman with his sexy, tailored pantsuits and tuxedo jackets. According to the designer, “fashion was not only supposed to make women beautiful, but to reassure them, to give them confidence, to allow them to come to terms with themselves.” The cause of death was undetermined at the time of the announcement.

YSL inspired logo tee by Chicago based streetwear giant, ST.ALFRED…proving just how timeless the designer’s brand was (and IS).

Pharell + Chair = Org—-, ahem “Heaven.”

In entirely untrue news, Pharell made me a chair.

Forget what you heard.

Bet mama always said the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Meaning you needed to know how to burn. Welcome to 2008, in a world where everything is harder, better, faster, stronger you better know that geeks got more dough than rappers. Step your game up ladies. The way to a man’s heart is through his gaming system. Check out this old school Nintendo coffee table. oh, and the bitch works. you got competition!

imitation is the best form of flattery

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Just wanted to give a special thanks to the boys at a local nameless, fameless FANZINE for being so entirely impressed with our site, they took it upon themselves to claim it as their own. I’m a pretty generous person, so you guys can feel free to raid my closet and borrow my pumps ANYTIME. Silly rabbits. And speaking of pumps, we are all “pumped” about the highly anticipated release of Sex and the City on the big screen. In all honesty, I can already sort of predict how the story will unfold..I’m just amped to see how well the girls are outfitted…so far, I found these on www.patriciafield.com along with some other gems you don’t wanna sleep on.

Hi Hater.

xPOZING THE TRUTH.

httpv://youtube.com/watch?v=e-LFBNbDzBs

Check this out.  Some local kats and by local I mean, Phoenix AZ…. claim that they’ve BEEN “fresh fiends”. Now, I know I’m not the first person on the planet to have ever organized the words “fresh” and “fiend” in the same sentence but I will take note to a “tacky coincidence.” and being since I co-own THEFRESHFIENDS.COM I can xpoz whoever the hell I want. Upon confrontation one half of this opposing lame duo claimed they had coined the term ‘way back when’ and have been fans of  FRESHFIENDS.COM which (as an aside, is WACK.) HERE’S the proof that this site was just recently constructed. (see below)

1. Hey there, Marty McFly unless ya’ll are on some Back to the Future chit, it isn’t possible to “have been” fans or followers of a site that didn’t EXIST until May 13th!
Marty McFly2.  Swagger jack something that’s more established. We’re new. and we expected this but not from TWO guys. We have time to grow…..all you’re doing is making us harder, better, faster, stronger (c) Daft Punk. <—–that’s called ‘credit.’

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VpBDqtUEWcM

3. We could go ON & ON (c) Erykah Badu about how you’ve done x,y, and z to damage those who’ve only tried to help  you but truth is, this post is already taking up too much time AND the only people who give a f*ck are ya’ll. that’s why you’re reading this.

AND the kickerrrrrr……..

“whoever” it was that started freshfiends.com stole their background from WWW.POWER983FM.COM “coincidentally” from Phoenix’s only hip hop radio station. dope site by the way, you should check it out.  How do I know THIS? oh, because I work there. and I know who created the damn site.

Case in short, there’s two guys in Phoenix that aren’t happy with the fact that TWO FEMALES agreed to move on without regret from a business plan gone sour. REGARDLESS of what you guys may believe or whatever it is you plan to say or do, it only enables us to get better. and that we shall.

 Boycott Biters.

more posts to come.

The REAL freshfiends are HERE. THEFRESHFIENDS.COM

Be REAL. “GET REAL.”

HEY THERE SAILOR..

After all the hype of Fafi and Heatherettte started to
die down, MAC introduced their “Naughty Nautical”
collection this month. From an artist’s perspective,
i’m feelin the colors for the most part (fiery red,
icy blue). Are they wearable though? Buyer beware, if
you don’t do your homework, this look can go TERRIBLY
WRONG.

WEDDING BELLS FOR KATE?

Kate Moss
Yeah righhhttt. Racy underwear line Agent Provocateur
released a six part “experimental film series” to
launch “WHITE WEDDING”, their borderline trashy bridal
collection. Starring Kate Moss as the blushing bride,
the microseries starts out dreamy and ends disastrous,
much like the model herself.
