Liberty of London has collaborated with Target in a collection that is like none other before it. This collection will reach just about every department in the store. Springy prints will appear on pieces in the women’s, men’s, children’s, accessories, home and garden, and bedding lines! I think I need the teapot and piggybank at least! Me and the boo went to see I Love You, Man last night. I was expecting it to be funny, but was surprised to see how deliciously styled it was. Every scene is basically a nod to modern architecture and furnishings. Fitting, since it was filmed in and around various parts of Los Angeles, a mecca for midcentury design. Cameos include:

Also check for Rashida Jones’ super steezy, modern-affluent wardrobe..*think vintage tees paired with little cardigans and PRICEY jeans. All in all, this movie is not only hysterical, but a design head’s wet dream.

I spent the last few days in L.A. with family for Christmas. We usually make regular Starbucks trips, but I’ve been hearing less of the S-word, and more about IT’S A GRIND. I had already noticed this showing up on many of the family members’ Christmas Wishlists (where Starbucks used to be), so I had to check it out for myself. After the first two sips I was officially a convert. It just tastes better. They have all of your favorite latte drinks and their bakery items look even more scrumptious.

According to their website, there are only a few locations in AZ. Luckily, one of them is very close to me I’m taking my regular Starbucks pal there next week.
