Brian Lichtenberg for Forever21

Brian Lichtenberg, L.A. designer and creator of Gaga’s caution tape bodysuit in her “Telephone” video, is teaming up with Forever21 for a limited collection of men’s and women’s clothing. Set to launch on August 13th, the image on the right shows a sneak peek of what’s to come. I wish the caution tape tank would have read “CRIME SCENE” like Gaga’s ensemble. Not shown, there are more graphic tees that use images of nail polish bottles and lipsticks! Unfortunately, these also involve dude’s name. I know BL is known for his signature “Brianel” type designs. I just wish designers would leave their labels on the inside and just give us a good design. I don’t want to wear anyone’s full name across my chest! Aside from that, I’m kinda feelin’ the guys fit… that is a guy right?

Speaking of Gaga… this incredible video gets me amped for her show in Phoenix next weekend.

If you haven’t seen it yet, you NEED to now:

H&M Scottsdale Fashion Square

The Fiends at H&M Scottsdale Fashion Square

We were invited to preview the store last night, two days before it opens to the public.

There were plenty of drinks flowing and cute little cocktail snacks.

The girls headed straight to the lingerie department, where unfortunately, the black racerback bra from my Vegas H&M outing was nowhere to be found.

Dresses w/ puffed sleeves seem to be it. La and I agreed that the style stems from our motherland. ;)

Handbags and Shoes on deck

More from the Ladies Department

This pant chain can also be worn as a necklace.

Children’s Department

Even spotted some HAUS of GAGA

H&M Scottsdale Fashion Square officially opens this Thursday, July 22nd.

It is located in the Barneys Wing.

There are tons of bargains to be found, so be sure to check it out!

Will YOU be there on Opening Day?

FIEND Find

I like my undergarments to be two things: Black and Lace.

My favorite bras are triangle bras. The good thing about not having melon breasts is that there’s not a lot to “support” so underwires are an unnecessary discomfort for me.

I found this black, lace, racerback triangle bra at H&M for only $9.95! It’s my new fave :)

(also available in white and pink)

organize your life… or at least your nail polish

As you may know, FF has the slightest obsession with nail lacquer. There’s not a color or brand that goes uncharted by our lovely Shew. During my latest excursion to Ikea, I was introduced to the Helmer Drawer Unit on casters. Each drawer (which includes slots for labels, by the way), is deep and wide enough for several rows of your favorite polishes. For $49.99, I think it’s a great value *it’s made of powder coated steel, which will last you a LONG time. The one I saw on display was red, but the Helmer also comes in Silver and White. I’m sold!

Move Over Minx

Someone FINALLY smartened up on this metallic nail craze;

That metallic finish that ONLY Minx could create… UNTIL NOW.

Dashing Diva is now offering full cover sets of nails in several metallic finishes.

Each ready-to-apply set will cost you only $8!

Obviously these are press-on tips so they would be for special occasion only, lasting up to 2-days.

Don’t expect them to last a week, even real metallic Minx don’t do that.

Ps. Hate to break it to you guys, but those DIY Minx wrappings from Sephora are NOT the biz.

Don’t waste your time or money. Go with these instead.

Makeup & Go

I can’t believe it took this long for someone to make this happen. Ever visit your favorite makeup counter just to get your eyes touched up, only to be pressured into buying things you will NEVER use? Most counters have a makeover fee “redeemable in product”. Your prayers (well at least MINE) have been answered. The newly opened Makeup & Go promises all pampering and NO PITCH. Book an appointment or walk right in and receive a QUICK makeup touch up ($18), full application ($35), or an evening look (between $60 and $70). For $20 per area, you can get your legs, arms, or anywhere really, airbrushed to perfection. Makeup & Go uses reputable brands like Smashbox, Tarte, Mark, and Juice Beauty. Located in Los Angeles, this makeup studio was designed with the A-Lister in mind-dressing rooms even come equipped with clothing steamers!! But with prices SO FAIR, anyone can get star treatment. Makeup & Go’s sister store, Bubble Blow Dry opens in June and will offer quick, yet indulgent shampoo/blowouts. GENIUS.

H & M Fashion Against Aids 2010 Collection

H & M has channeled all things “festive” for their annual FAA collection. In remembrance of music festivals like Woodstock, Coachella, and the newly resurrected Lilith Fair, it was only a matter of time before a clothing brand would create pieces inspired by the events. A little bohemian, a LOT rock (think 1973 Led Zeppelin groupie- if you can), the lineup consists of 20 pieces for women, 12 for men, and around 20 accessories ranging from headphones to sleeping bags to a tent. The ad campaign features Lizzie Jagger (daughter of Mick Jagger, how appropriate) and Lou Doillon and was shot by Dan MÃ¥rtensen. According to WWD: The items will go on sale on May 20 in the Divided Youth department of around 200 selected H&M stores in all markets, with the exception of the Middle East and Israel. A quarter of sales will be donated to youth HIV/AIDS awareness projects, H&M said. Said Ann-Sofie Johansson (H & M’s Head of Design), “For me, festivals are unique and inspirational places as they join both music and fashion, To see your favorite bands, to see creative people gathered, all from different nations and with different looks, really inspires me.”

I NEED THIS.
