Margherita Missoni was recently photographed filming for a new Missoni advertisement. These just may be the first photos to show the actual goods from the Missoni for Target Collection, scheduled to launch in September.

Loving the male model’s sweater and scarf.

I see the bicycle, a laptop case and luggage.

Here we are shown a glimpse of the housewares.
Are you excited for this collection?
I think I’m only interested in the bicycle and maybe a scarf. The Missoni look has always been a good runway look to me, and I LOVE the swimwear. But as far as dressing head-to-toe in Missoni stripes and zigzags.. I’m not sure it transcends from runway to reality.

I’m loving the color peach lately. These little shorts from H&M make me want to become a runner.

This elegant flower caught my eye too, also a peachy shade.
From afar it looks like a typical flower..

Upon closer inspection, it’s actually made of feathers.
I think it will look pretty pinned next to a messy side bun.

I’m thinking my recent fondness for the color may have something to do with this peach iced tea that I’ve been sipping on daily. It’s not from Starbucks.. I just reuse their cups.
I probably won’t become a runner any time soon, but I can lounge around my house in my peach shorts and drink my peach iced tea. Yea.. that’ll do

Currently loving the Gold Teardrop Hoops and Bright Wrap Bracelets from the Calypso St. Barth for Target Collection.
Decently priced at $14.99 and far better quality than Forever 21 goods.
Beachy accessories make me feel Coastal Chic, even when there’s no shore in sight.

You don’t need fancy scrubs to get rid of dry, flaky skin. You may even have everything you need for soft, smooth skin right in your kitchen cabinet.
What are some of YOUR favorite DIY beauty tips using household products?

We gave you a little teaser back in February and now it’s finally here! The opening of Scottsdale’s most anticipated hair “experience” is TOMORROW at the Scottsdale Quarter! For a flat fee of $35 (a steal compared to the $45-$60 full service salons charge), you’re able to hang out in a gorgeous atmosphere while a blow out specialist tames your tresses! The FIENDS and I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of this awesome concept salon, and jumped at the chance to catch up with Dry Bar’s founder, Alli Webb.
What inspired Drybar?
Personal necessity! As a curly-haired girl I was always struggling to find a great affordable blowout. I got tired of either overpaying at my regular salon or enduring a not-so-great experience at a discount chain. I knew that if someone were to create a beautiful, fun, hip place where I could get a great price and a great blowout, I personally would go all the time. But nobody was doing it, so we decided to go for it!
In addition to the signature looks that are offered, does Drybar also do updo’s, curled styles, and flat ironing?
We do it all. All of our signature blowout styles include curling, flat ironing or any other styling to leave you with fabulous hair. That’s part of what sets Drybar apart from the rest – each blowout is $35 flat fee – we don’t up-charge based on your hair type or requested style like most salons. It’s $35 no matter what! We also do Uptin’s aka Updos for special events, weddings, red carpets, prom – you name it!
Are there any future plans for other “on-the-go” concept salons? For example: Nailbar, Waxbar?
“Nope! We believe strongly in sticking to what we know best, and that’s blowouts. We’ll let someone else focus on the other stuff, we have 100+ Drybars to plan and bring to life!”
What other locations are in the works? Any airport locations we can look forward to?
We have locations opening soon in San Francisco, San Diego, Atlanta and New York and have quite a few other cities in our sights. We’ll keep you posted

Bar soaps get a bad rap. They are said to dry out the skin and even leave a residue on the skin (gross). It may be true for some, but I’ve used many bar soaps that have proved otherwise. I’m a fan of the Dove Beauty Bar, and as you all know I’m a big fan of LUSH soaps too.
I recently got my hands on these Mediterranean olive oil bar soaps by natural brand Kiss My Face. These bars are long lasting, and made from the purest natural ingredients. Suitable for all skin types, they even claim to be able to heal eczema, acne, and psoriasis. Honey hydrates the skin and Green Tea is known to be a soothing, anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory.
I can’t attest to their healing properties quite yet, but I have been using the Olive & Honey bar on my body and face in the shower. My skin is super sensitive and breakout prone and these have not caused any irritation at all. The look and scent of the soap is more olive than honey, but the honey definitely comes out in the lather. The soap suds feel so moisturizing, almost gooey, yet it rinses clean without residue. It leaves my skin feeling clean and balanced. I gave a couple bars to the Fiends too, so if they’ve had a chance to try them out, maybe they can tell us what they thought in the comments.

Closets can be frustrating. Tops falling off hangers… a general cluttered mess.
Organization really is key to being happy in your surroundings. I recently decided to purge and organize my closet, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Read the rest of this entry »

ALDO’s new Spring 2011 Collection features a pair of nude wedges with a braided rope detail.

The price tag of $100 on these doesn’t exactly break the bank, but my ladies on a tight budget may be interested in Target’s Dolce Vita Rope Wedge Sandals in Nude.

Available for preorder online at Target.com for only $29.99

I always seem to feel ill when a change in the weather takes place. One of the best things about telling your friends you’re not feeling well is when they share their favorite remedies.

When I told Miss.Summer I had a sore throat and cough, she recommended I drink some black tea with honey, lemon, and garlic. I had these items in my kitchen already so not only was it convenient, but it really works!

Tazo Green Ginger tea solves stomach issues so you can put down the pepto.
Sometimes difficult to find, a box of 20 bags is on sale at Target NOW for under $3.
With the risk of making this post sound super Eastern, claiming that all sickness can be healed with tea, I want to open up the comments section to readers to share their favorite cold/illness remedies.
GO!!
