I received the cutest package from Urban Decay last week. A lot of cosmetic companies have added temporary tattoos to their lines (i.e. Chanel and Kat Von D) but I really liked that this “mission” focused on some new products and how well they can improve your makeup game.

I thought about doing the stars on the back of my neck a la Rihanna, but I figured that would be too predictable so I chose the feather and I placed it on what I believe to be the sexiest part of a woman’s body… the decolletage.

We’ve seen the diapers and hardware, and now Cynthia Rowley is dressing up your “boo-boos”.
Each limited-edition metal tin will house an assortment of 20 band-aids.

Pick up your tin for $10 at any Cynthia Rowley store, the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in NYC, or online HERE.
One dollar from the sale of each tin will go to Design Ignites Change, an organization that engages high school and college students in design and architecture projects that address social issues in their own communities.

As the Holiday season approaches, my clean and crisp fragrances get pushed to the side, and I get in the mood for warm, sweet scents.
Luckily, LUSH has me covered… I recently received a box with the following products:
Stay tuned for individual product reviews.
If you like sweet scents, you wont want to miss it

Camel – creamy opaque beige
Plum - rich bold purple
Mink – warm cocoa brown
I really wish I could see these in person, but unfortunately RGB isn’t sold anywhere in AZ. The promo photos don’t show Mink as being a warm brown color at all, in fact it looks to me like a neutral taupe, maybe even running on the cool side. Regardless, all three shades look gorgeous. Beautiful additions to the RGB lineup for Fall 2010 and all available now HERE,
for $14 each with complimentary shipping.

Essie Fall Into Fashion Collection for Fall 2010
For this collection, Essie drew inspiration from the range of elegant, sanguine hues and camouflage tones seen on Fall’s runways. Maybe a couple of these dusty camouflage tones can satisfy your expensive thirst for the CHANEL Khaki Collection? Let’s take a look…

In Stitches
Described by Essie as a cheeky blush pink, I see more of a rose blush creme.
I’m tempted to call this an affordable alternative to CHANEL Khaki Rose, although this is more pink.
This applied very well, plenty of coverage in two coats.

Limited Addiction
Described by Essie as a racy garnet red, this started out a fuschia pink-red with one coat.
It deepened with the second coat to a beautiful deep garnet.
One of my favorites from this collection.

Sew Psyched
Described by Essie as a cashmere-soft sage pewter, this will definitely be the most stand-out and talked about shade of the collection. Although they may not be exact dupes, this will be my affordable alternative to CHANEL Khaki Vert.

Merino Cool
Described by Essie as a sensuous autumn mulberry, I’m going to keep it simple and call it a cool taupe. I love these types of cool dusty taupes, another favorite for me.

Velvet Voyeur
Described by Essie as an intense chocolate amethyst, I’m going to call it an intense deep plum. It was difficult to capture the intensity of the plum tones on photograph, partially because I was running out of sunlight when I took these. It’s pretty much stunning and perfect for Fall.

Little Brown Dress
Described by Essie as a beguiling black coffee, which is a pretty good description for this color, it reminded me instantly of chocolate covered espresso beans. Mmmmm Yes Please!
Formula and application was excellent and all photos show two coats of polish.
Available NOW and just in time for Fall on Essie.com

MAC Fabulous Felines launched yesterday in stores and at counters.
Here are my top picks from the MAC Fabulous Felines Collection…

Of Royalty (cremesheen lipstick)
Of Royalty is a light creamy blue-pink. It is deeper than Viva Glam Gaga and more pink/less purple than Saint Germain. If Gaga and St. Germain were too cool-toned for you, you may do better with Of Royalty. Coverage is nice, easily buildable.

Kittenish (cremesheen lipstick)
Kittenish is a deep red berry color. Deep lips are always in trend for Fall. Kittenish is smooth and moisturizing. In my opinion it is the most standout lipstick in this collection.

Utterly Game (mineralize blush)
Utterly Game was my favorite of the three mineralize blushes, but I am partial to peach tone blushes. Utterly game has great color payoff. It has a tad of shimmer but nothing over the top. If you are more of a pink blush gal you should go for Pet Me mineralize blush. I passed on Pet Me because it is similar to Dainty mineralize blush, which I already have.

I honestly wasn’t that impressed with the majority of this collection. I like the idea of the new superslick liquid eyeliners but have heard bad things about stickiness and difficulty removing.
Have you or will you purchase anything from this collection?
