Arlo became interested in fashion when after watching an old movie, he asked for a top hat and monocle for his third birthday. “I remember that he could barely speak and he told us that’s what he wanted,” his mother, architect Linda Brettler, said in a L.A. Inspired by the highly-publicized DV situation with Rihanna and Chris Brown, the intent of the ad is to break the stereotypes of the kinds of women who are considered typical victims of domestic violence.
